Dr. Dolly Doshi: A Pioneer in Interventional Radiology

Initial Education and Training

Dr. Doshi's educational background is as strong as her clinical experience. After completing her MBBS, she completed an MD in Radio Diagnosis/Radiology, beginning her journey in a discipline of medicine that is continuously improving, in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Doshi's commitment to improving her knowledge and skills took her out of India and into the USA, where she contributed to research and co-authored chapters with educational role during her tenure at Stanford University, USA.

Her international experience improved her technical skills, but it also gave her a greater insight of how radiology can affect patient outcomes.

Professional Journey

From 2016-2017 Dr. Doshi contributed significantly to the growth of the specialty of Interventional Radiology in Belgaum, Karnataka. She was affiliated with KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & Medical Research Centre serving as Assistant Professor in Radiology as well as Consultant Vascular Interventional Radiologist.

Aside from just performing procedures, Dr. Doshi was involved in establishing systems, educating junior doctors, and implementing methods that were new to her community.
