Education and Qualifications
Dr. Tantia started off with her MBBS, moving on to her MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College, Kishanganj, in 2011. Yet, her true strength is that of international training and dedication to specialist surgical distinction.
She did a Fellowship in Laparoscopy from Kiel University, Germany, in 1999, much before laparoscopic surgeries were routine in India. Subsequently, she did a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and Reproductive Medicine from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India in 2016.
This combination of international exposure and Indian context shapes her practice—firm hand, but with an innovative mind.
